In a place where few houses seem to have power, Ganesh has a light bulb! Every morning on the way to class we would stop and already Ganesh is adorned with flowers with fresh milk and fruit at his feet.

Varanasi or Benares – I am now in Northern India on the Ganges River in the most holy city in India. These steps or ghats line the river bank and in the spring they are mostly under water.
